Mississippi Casino Revenue Decline in June

Mississippi casino revenue saw a decline of 2.2% in June, totaling $197.6 million compared to the $202.1 million earned the previous year. The decline was even sharper compared to May, with an 11.6% decrease.

The Coastal region continued to be the primary revenue generator, bringing in $130.5 million, a slight drop from the $131.8 million recorded last year. The Central region experienced the most significant decrease, with revenues falling by 6.1%, from $26.1 million to $24.6 million.

The Northern region also experienced a decline in revenue, with a 3.6% drop to $42.6 million from $44.1 million in June of the previous year. This decrease contributes to a year-to-date total of $1.22 billion, which is a marginal 0.6% decrease from the $1.23 billion generated at the same time last year.
