The global gaming supplier industry, a vital economic driver, directly influences the vast landscape of online casinos and gaming. A related report highlights just how significant these contributions are. According to a recent study by the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), suppliers generated close to $60 billion in economic output globally in 2023.
AGEM President and CEO Daron Dorsey emphasized the industry’s fortitude, stating, “AGEM’s member companies are integral to the innovation and technological advancement within regulated gaming jurisdictions worldwide. Our latest economic impact study underscores the resilience of our members, who continue to deliver essential products and services while committing to the long-term success of local communities.”
The report also notes that gaming suppliers support approximately 225,000 jobs, including 77,000 directly within the sector, distributing $21 billion in wages, marking an 11.8% rise from the previous year. The impact of these suppliers extends widely both domestically and internationally. Particularly, companies in Nevada produced $10.6 billion in direct economic activity and contributed $27.9 billion overall. Specific efforts resulted in $15.1 billion in total value added and $6.6 billion in wages, engaging over 71,000 Nevada employees.

Over 77,000 direct jobs attest to the sector’s capacity for growth.
AGEM’s expansive network includes 135 members from 23 countries, covering major players like Ainsworth Game Technology, Aristocrat Technologies, Aruze Gaming America, Bally Technologies, IGT, Konami Gaming, and Scientific Games. The “Impact Analysis: Global Gaming Supplier Industry” report, independently conducted by Nevada-based Applied Analysis, details these impressive figures and underscores the sector’s robust global presence.
