Goals and Expectations
G2E 2025 Las Vegas was my objective for an on‑site review of the Global Gaming Expo in the United States. My aim was to attend a major American conference, compare it with about 15 European gambling conferences I have covered, and produce a clear, useful report. I received media accreditation, which I appreciate. I also set a goal to expand my networking and strengthen my presence in the market.
Venue and Organization
The Venetian Expo delivered a professional experience from arrival to badge pickup. The venue sits near the Sphere, an impressive architectural landmark. Operations were streamlined. At the entrance staff directed the flow. I presented ID, scanned a QR code at one of about 5 kiosks, printed the badge in minutes, and moved in. The show marked a 25 year anniversary and the level of organization reflected that.
Media services for press were available. There was a dedicated journalist lounge by DraftKings where I stopped for a very good snack between walk throughs.

Expo Size and Scope
The expo floor was gigantic. My early expectation for more affiliate programs came from previous traffic‑focused events I attended; G2E Las Vegas 2025 showcases the full industry. By the numbers, G2E convenes 25,000+ gaming professionals and 400+ exhibitors from 120+ countries, filling hundreds of thousands of square feet at The Venetian Expo. Exhibitors ranged from chip and card manufacturers, count machines and hardware, furniture and uniforms, to slot software, cybersecurity, and broader operational software used by casinos and resorts.
Program, Sessions and Content
My Oura ring counted about 16,000 steps across the day. I did not attend stage talks during a 1 day visit and focused on the expo floor. The day included opening‑hour walk‑throughs, continuous product demos, playable showcases at slot manufacturers, short stage announcements at select booths, prize and swag activations, and guided mini‑tours offered by several exhibitors. This pace gave a deeper understanding of how different segments present products and how attendees interact with them.
iGaming Zone
The strongest impressions came from the giants of the industry in the iGaming cluster. The flagship corner investment context was about $550,000 for a single stand and the build quality, screen density and staffing reflected that level.
About $550,000 flagship corners
- Amusnet. European rooted iGaming supplier with platform and content presence that showed polished showcases on site.
- Soft2Bet. International operator and platform group with founders present and a strong brand presentation in the zone.
- PT Services Delaware. Infrastructure and services presence with a focus on reliable delivery for regulated operations.
About $200,000 builds
- BetConstruct. High visibility booth with compact build for focused meetings and product walk throughs.
- Internet Vikings International. Infrastructure and hosting provider with a streamlined presence for partner conversations.
Major Operator Slot Zones
Each of these major operators built large, immersive gaming zones that showcased their slot portfolios across multiple themes, variations, and cabinet families. The booths felt like LED art installations, with walls of light, big themed displays, and seated demo rows, making this one of the most photogenic and playable areas of the expo.
- Light & Wonder: Global gaming content and systems company with long running franchises and a visible footprint at the expo.
- Aristocrat Gaming: Long standing slot developer known for premium cabinets and recurring series across North America.
- AGS: U.S. based supplier focused on regional and tribal markets with expanding slot portfolios.
- Novomatic: European manufacturer with large cabinet families and a broad international presence.
- Konami Gaming: Well-established slot and systems supplier known for reliable platforms, distinctive cabinet lines, and a strong presence in U.S. casinos.
- Everi: Slot content provider with on floor engagement tools showcased in seated demos.
- IGT: Global slot and systems provider with iconic brands and a wide installed base.
Networking and Meetings
I met representatives from different parts of the market. One of my key mistakes was setting my plan around the iGaming area: because there was no direct zone for solo affiliates and no partner-program section, I lost time and did not redirect myself across all stands. Two conversations with different teams also ran over 30 minutes each. As a result I did not reach my target to hand out 100 business cards.
Next time I will start with direct intros at each relevant stand, keep initial chats short, and stay for a couple of days to cover more ground. Even so, I connected with most teams in the iGaming area and expanded my LinkedIn circle by about 10 people.
Show and Entertainment
Playable slot rows, roulette and blackjack, prize draws, small game activations, and short performance moments created a steady show rhythm on the floor. The Vegas Golden Knights mascot passed through with a drumline and cheerleaders, which looked especially striking. Even so, I am cheering this season for my home team, the Dallas Stars. I believe they will win the Stanley Cup. LETS GO STARS! There were plenty of interactive activations throughout the day. The entertainment supported the business focus without overwhelming it.

Logistics and Travel
I flew to Las Vegas for 1 day. I arrived at the conference by 9 in the morning, had coffee and made it to the opening. I flew Southwest. Everything was fast. I used Dallas Love Field (DAL) on Mockingbird, about 4 miles from my home. I stayed until the end of the conference day and at 4:30 went to the airport and returned home the same day. I was back home by 10:40 Dallas time.
Conclusion
I am grateful to the organizers of G2E Las Vegas 2025, the American Gaming Association and RX, for the invitation and media accreditation. I will return next year for a couple of days to go deeper. I recommend this expo to professionals and newcomers alike. If you want to open something new in gambling, this event shows the industry end to end. From player to businessperson everyone can find something here.
