A northern Nevada casino facing scrutiny has agreed to pay a $10,000 fine for failing to implement proper oversight and controls. The Nevada Gaming Commission will review the matter related to Off The Rails Casino located in Lovelock. Focused primarily on slot games, the casino faces 29 allegations from a 19-page complaint dating back to 2016. These violations focus on the inability to ensure a gaming employee’s registration, maintain progressive logs, and more.
Online Casinos Strengthen Compliance
The casino’s accusations include lapses in auditing, jackpot payout regulations, and account management. To prevent issues with online slots, the casino needs a service contract with their slot system’s manufacturer. This agreement will cover training for employees, routine hardware and software updates, and 24-hour customer support. Having a manufacturer-trained employee available during business hours remains mandatory.
