Aristocrat’s Social Casino Market Share Grows

Aristocrat’s social casino market share grew by four percent in May, while competitors lost market footing by the same margin. Revealing this trend, Kai Erman from Jefferies Equity Research highlighted the company’s success in the sector.

Aristocrat’s Social Casino Market Share Expands

SensorTower data, calculating these shifts on both Android and iOS platforms, was presented in Erman’s June 5 report. He emphasized Aristocrat’s steady achievements, noting, “Aristocrat has demonstrated significant share gains in social casino over the past 18 months, which we expect to continue.” The forecast shows a five percent growth for Aristocrat’s Product Madness line for the rest of 2025.

Product Madness’s revenue spiked by four percent in May due to popular titles. Lightning Link surged by 13 percent. Meanwhile, Mighty Fu Casino: Slots Game soared 52 percent, and Cashman Casino Slots Games increased by five percent.

Light & Wonder’s SciPlay division also exceeded market performance by three percent last month. However, their Jackpot Party struggled, with revenue declining by 15 percent.

Competitive Pressures and Future Growth

Erman acknowledged challenges within the broader market. Non-Aristocrat and Light & Wonder companies fell by four percent, avoiding previous severe declines. Over the past six months, Product Madness climbed five percent as rivals fell nine percent.

Even as new sweepstakes products added competitive pressure, Aristocrat stayed resilient. Erman noted, “Ongoing launches of sweepstakes products may provide competitive pressures; however, discussion on their legality has grown in the U.S., slowing their momentum.” He indicated that popular social-casino slot content keeps Aristocrat ahead.

The expansion of U.S. igaming could challenge social casinos. However, Aristocrat is poised to benefit as its social-casino users migrate to igaming, profiting from better margins and unit economics. For more updates on gambling legislation, visit Legal Sports Report.
